All degree recipients and those that have been conferred with honorary membership status are eligible for the benefits listed below. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about your benefits.
Cal Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Email Address
As an alumnus, you may be granted privilege to continue using a Cal Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ email address for life pursuant to the computer use policy. This privilege is for alumni who have graduated from Cal Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ. To keep your email current your password must be updated every 180 days. Alumni Insurance Program
As you consider your financial future, consider Long Term Care insurance now, because securing coverage today is far more economical than applying in the future. Long Term Care (LTC) insurance can help with costs for in-home care, adult day care, or even assisted living.
Forrest Fitness Center Membership
Gym memberships are available for alumni and are granted on a first come, first serve basis.
Post-MBA Certificate
Alumni who have already earned an MBA, MPPA, or a similar advanced degree can earn a Post-MBA Certificate in one of our MBA professional tracks at a reduced alumni rate by completing a set of four targeted courses.
Short Term Medical Insurance and Advisory Services
We sponsor an alumni insurance program that includes Short Term Medical insurance (STM). Both are available to Cal Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ alumni, students, faculty, and staff, as well as their spouses, domestic partners, parents, children, and siblings.
Library and Database Access
Alumni retain their borrowing privileges for the library. You will need two things to access this privilege:
- Your alumni ID card which you can pick up at the Campus Safety Office.
- Your Cal Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ email and password for MyCLU. If you need help with your Cal Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ email or password, please contact the Help Desk at 805-493-3698 or email helpdesk@CalÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵ.edu.
Learn about your alumni library privileges including access to two online databases with your Cal Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ email address.
CLU Magazine
We provide all alumni with this award-winning magazine three times a year, at no cost to you! Articles are also available online, but if you would like to receive it at home, complete with updates and pictures from your fellow alumni, simply update your address information.

Discount on Car Rentals
Cal Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ alumni can receive a discount when renting through Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
Discount on Car Insurance
