The scholarship program is made possible through the generosity of donor Mary Barbara Price, who created this permanently endowed fund at Thrivent Charitable Impact and Investing. Through these scholarship awards, the donor wished to endorse the optimism and success of today's youth and provide educational opportunities to outstanding individuals who have demonstrated their abilities and desire to explore the unlimited possibilities available to them.

The donor also shared a belief in the faith and values inherent in and promoted by colleges and universities affiliated with the 蘑菇视频 Church. The donor hoped that recipients of this award, similarly, would one day "pass it along" and share generously with students in need of educational scholarship assistance.
