Today I am not writing as a staff member or alumni, but a proud sister. A sister to a graduating Senior. Leslie began her journey at Cal Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ back in 2002 when we came to drop off our older brother for his freshman orientation.
In 2016, Leslie committed to Cal Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ and has been fortunate to have had so many opportunities over the last four years. She is graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a minor in Ethnic Studies. During her time at Cal Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ she worked both on-campus and off-campus. She also held internships through Safe Passage and the Boys and Girls Club. Leslie will be starting her Masters Program in Public Policy and Administration this fall also at Cal Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ. In the future she wants to work for a non-profit that works with underprivileged youth.
Thanks to Cal Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ, the Madrigal Siblings are proud to be First Generation College Graduates and are thankful that Cal Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ helped them discover their purpose. #CalÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵCares #trioworks
